Flu symptoms

If you have ever had the flu you know that it is a serious condition that can rob you of both strength and the desire to breathe. One day you will feel fine, and then it hits you! You head will start to ache, and you throat will feel raw. Soon the chill will settle in deep in your bones and there will not be a pain free spot anywhere. You will feel exhausted and want to sleep, and sleep will be the one thing you desire. Food will not be a question because the mere thought of it will have your stomach turning. There is nothing the doctor give you for the flu virus, so staying at home it the best medicine. For both you and your coworkers.

The young and the elderly are at the high risk end of the Flu virus death rate. The flu will attack you respatory system and will leave your lungs at risk of failure. The emergency rooms across the country are filled with flu cases every year. Each year a new flu vaccination is made to fight the “newest strain” of the flu. You can get the flu shot free of charge at your doctors or at a flu clinic. Some people show signs of getting the flu after getting the shot while others show no side effects to the shot.

It is believed that each year hundreds of people die due to complication from the flu, and it is also believed that if the flu shot had been taken these deaths could have been prevented. Some people refuse to get the shot because they feel, the doctors are injecting their bodies with the virus, and there for giving us the flu in a way. However, it is strongly advised all those at high risk of getting the flu ( young , old and those with week immune systems) should get the shot each year.
